How do I fix Outlook 2003 so it stops freezing? ?
Hi there, this is Williams Glien from Miami, Florida USA. Last week I have installed outlook 2003 which was the replacement of outlook 2000. Everything was alright but yesterday morning when I was downloading my messages to outlook 2003, it continually stops responding and It looks like that my computer is going to be hang. Has anyone also face similar problems. What to do to make my outlook just like before. Please give your valuable words! Thanks. Williams
This kind of problems occurs if your mails are being checked first and then getting downloaded. The checking is done by either your antivirus program or any mail scanner program that are generally comes with Strong antivirus programs like Norton Antivirus or Symantec AV.
To stop happening this you first need to stop the antivirus or mail scanner program and then try to re-download the mail. If the problem does not occur then simply replace your anti-virus program to any other anti-virus programs that takes less system resources and give required security to your system.
If the problem is still there then it means that your outlook is suffering from major corruptions and need to perform the recovery at this stage.
