Microsoft Outlook is the most preferred personal Information Manager used by millions of people around the world. Its features are great for personal as well as enterprise level uses. You have mentioned that you know about the Gmail and also using the Gmail for a long time. Yes! It�s true that some prior version of Microsoft outlook has some limitations and problems. Gmail has features which overcome from this problem and so is an effective option to choose. Now you want to completely switch to Gmail and want all your emails on one place. So you just need to follow these steps to import your achieved or saved email from outlook into your Gmail account.

- Import your outlook mailbox into Microsoft outlook express, then open outlook express. Select tools > import and instruct it to import mail from outlook.
- Download & install thunderbird. When it get installed, it asks to you to import all outlook emails. At that time import all the outlook mails on the thunderbird.
- Download & install the free Google Mail Loader (GML) by Mark Lyon.
- Open GML Loader.
- Select the find button under configure your email file and your hard drive to locate mail file for thunderbird.
- Select and highlight the individual folder of mail you wish to import into Gmail.
- Open Gmail Account and clean your inbox (if possible). All archive mails that you import will come in to your inbox.
- Choose the File Type in GML.
- Choose the message type. Messages imported from your sent items folder can be sent in to the sent items folder in Gmail but they will also appear in to your inbox. Other messages also sent into your inbox and you can arrange from there according to your requirement.
- Enter your Gmail Address and Fill the correct SMTP server name.
- Click the send to Gmail button in GML. According to the number of emails it takes time.
- Open Gmail and review progress as the GML imports your email.
- After the importing completes, you can arrange all the emails according to your need.
